                언제나 그렇고 그렇게
                서성이던 어눌함 삭이려고
                막을 내린 인력 시장 떼밀려 나오는데
                다른 삶의 한 쪽 거리 저 곳에서는
                전혀 움직임 잊은 양으로
                추억의 군상, 그 다양한 흔적들
                보따리 험하게 풀려
                마구잡이 펼쳐진 좌판마다
                자리 좁다 늘어지게 차지하여
                세월 훔치려는 기다림으로 꿈을 꾸면
                비좁아 부딪는 어깨 틈새 헤치며
                시간은 곰팡내 비껴가고
                빈 주머니 훌렁 까 보이는
                거짓 흥정 서너 번에
                지나간 과거의 무게 제값 잃고
                어림으로 저울질하면
                지난날 그리며 잠을 자는 모습이라도
                부시시 다시 깨어나리니,

                헤지고 망가진 온갖 잡동사니
                묵은 넋두리에 절은 체
                버려지고 잊혀지려 하였던
                삶, 그 생활 소품 부스러기, 그 인생
                누구라도 살펴 펼쳐 놓으면 그만,
                대충 보아주는 눈길 좇아
                어느 무딘 손으로라도 건네 가면
                새로운 곳 살아가는 추억도 될 수 있어
                한동안 참았던 숨 다시 내쉬며
                힘겹게 장을 떠날 수 있다.
